Installation of Python

Before starting with a simple Hello World program, let's do the environment setup to execute or run the program or simply let's install the Python in our system.

Please follow the following simple steps to download and install the Python in Windows machine,

Step 1

Before setting up the environment we need to have the Python software. So to get the software we have to go to https://www.python.org/, and then just do mouse over on the  Downloads menu link as shown below,

Step 2

As shown in the above, please click on the Python  3.7.1 button and you will see python-3.7.1.exe would have downloaded at the bottom of the browser as shown below,

Step 3

Now we are ready to install and just double click on the python-3.7.1.exe, you will see an installation pop-up,

As you can see in the above click on the Add Python 3.7 to PATH checkbox and then click on Install Now.

Now you can see the Setup Progress pop-up,

Finally, you will see Set was successful message on the pop-up,

Now the installation is done.

Step 3

To check the whether Python is available in your system or not just open your command prompt and then type python then you will see the below message by saying the version of the Python.
